We thought we would pay homage
to two soul mates that will forever be
linked as one. As their dedication on
Brandon's tombstone reads, 'Brandon and
Eliza, Ever joined in true love's
beauty.' To celebrate and honor the love
that Brandon described to James O'Barr
as changing his life, we thought fans
could join in with us with dedication of
poems, pictures, artworks and any words
you would like to say about this classic
couple.
Eliza was a very important part of
Brandon's life (perhaps the most
important person to him), and the one
thing he was looking forward to most was
this wedding day with the love of his
life. They had such special love between
them, so we thought all fans would be
able to add something to honor Brandon &
his beloved on this day. It is to
celebrate love and the immortal themes
that have inspired many The Crow fans.
Brandon referred to Eliza as his
"Immortal soulmate" just days before he
was killed on the set of The Crow. He
described in one of his last interviews
how Eliza provided was the inspirational
for understanding the character of
Eric's intense love for his fiancee,
Shelly. Brandon put himself in the place
of how he could react if he ever was
separated from Eliza, and how he would
feel if what happened to Eric and
Shelly, happened to he and Eliza.
April 17, 1993 was meant to be the start
of a new life as husband and wife for
Brandon and Eliza. Instead, Eliza had to
grieve as a widow before she ever was
married to her soul mate. Her pain we
hope never to experience, but as a
tribute we honor of what once was, and
what always will be forever in their
hearts.
As the line from The Crow says, ' Two
people were who meant to be together,
nothing can keep them apart'. Soul mates
are forever - so is real love.
There never was a real Eric and Shelly,
but everything the film stood for, such
immortal love and intense bonds, Brandon
& Eliza had in actuality.
Brandon & Eliza - We pay tribute to you
both. |
