Inspired Poetry

In 1999 after being somewhat sick of the misinformation available on the internet about Brandon Lee & his relationship with his fiancee, Eliza Hutton, I decided to create a website on the pair. I had no idea when I did that it would receive the amount of attention that it has. It is our biggest 'HIT' site that The Brandon Lee Movement has. I am grateful for those fans who have responded only positively to it. I am also thankful to those special people (you know who you are) who helped me correct facts over the years. Not long after I premiered the site, I received a poem that a fan had written after she had saw my site, and she wanted to share it with me. I was very touched whenI received it, so much so that I still have a copy of it - to this day. I never knew what the author's real name was, but she went by the internet NICK : Sarah Munster. If she is still around and recognises her own writing, please email me so I can provide you with the right copyright credit.

Eliza

He'll never have the joy of seeing his first born. Nor, will her remember the day I said 'I do'. It was all planned out yet ended much too soon.

Leaving her was the hardest thing he'd ever do. Though I think somehow he knew, that letting go of her meant holding something new.

Losing his father at a young age he grew up and matured alot faster than those around him. He had always had something special. Each day for him was a struggle to be his own person and to carry on his father's name.

Memories is what each and everyone of us hold of him those of which are in our hearts and in out minds. To think that we've lost only a person...we've lost so much more. Fighting back the tears I wonder to myself if he maybe somehow misses me. It absolutely amazes me that I myself can miss someone I never knew. I wonder if he watches me the was he does Eliza. All I do know is she was the best thing that ever happened to him And she made him what he was. Wherever she is tonight he's right there with her sitting at that restaurant table, watching her brush the hair away from her face, wishing to feel her warm embrace if only once more.

To touch her may be too painful when he comes to the realization she can't feel him. Crying to hours on end she holds her head low. While he tries to comfort her on some level. Maybe she knows he's there with her always never leaving her yet never there. Pictures of him dance across her memory she'll hide forever away from all of which she is scared to remember. In fear of losing him all over again. He came to me today to tell you Eliza, he's waiting for you. And yes, each day he thinks of you and No, he hasn't forgotten the day he asked you to be his wife. He waited all his life to find someone like you now that he has he'll wait another lifetime through if he has to and just to be with you. He knows it feels like forever has been and gone just hang on. It won't be too long he'll have you in his arms once more share that wedding day you never had.

He told all of this to deliver to you. Eliza, now all that I ask in return is that you invite me to this wedding of yours because I want to see his eyes light up as you share that ballroom dance across the floor. He may have lost his time on earth with you, he lost alot and yes it's true, though I want to thank you. You gave him what he was, is, and will always be. The lovely charismatic Brandon Bruce Lee.
