12.30.08 -  I have updated most of the site this past week. It was time for some 'cleaning' up before the New Years starts, you might say.  Updates: FAQ, Brandon & Eliza, Picture Archive, Facts, Blog, Brandon Lee Movement.

On the behalf of myself and my family, as well as all those who help me out at this end, I would like to extend very HAPPY NEW YEAR wishes to all readers of our site, and fans in general of Brandon Lee, who keep his legacy alive. Brandon's inspiration for living life to the fullest and making the world a better place by contributing something to humanity, is never far from our aims to make sure he is remembered and his life celebrated. His energy is out in the universe bringing new light, I like to think, to inspire that same social conscience and sense of possibility of what life can hold, for every single one of us.  Some day we all will be gone, and I do believe if we are able to do what we can to help celebrate more of our own humanity and the beauty of life, we all can share in the same destiny.  Life is for living, so everyone one of you go out there and pursue your dreams, be true to yourself, be kind to others, love everyday and have the best time possible.  If Brandon demonstrated anything, it certainly was that!

12.19.08 -  In case you have been living in a cave for the last few days, the news that there are now proposed plans to re-make the original film of The Crow, has angered many fans. While for a number of years there has been suggestions that a literal translation of the comic should be done, the idea that Stephen Norrington wants to re-make a film that was already made and is not outdated by any means, to many is rather concerning. Norrington comments about removing gothic elements and making the characters more realistic, also haven't sat well with the large majority of fans. So, in an effect to address fans concerns, we have started a petition to send to the makers clarifying that any plans to re-make a film using the developed character of Eric Draven (Draven was not the same Eric from the comic in many ways) that Brandon contributed significant artistic input and ideas into, would not be supported by fans, if it were copied. If they wish to do a literal translation, fine, but the statements in the media indicate that it has been proposed to try and pump new blood into the franchise, by trying to copying what should be left well and good alone, and what has great artistic integrity, is not widely going to be supported by fans. Please check our blog for the latest opinion on this. And please sign this petition to let Edward R. Pressman & Stephen Norrington know that a original re-make of the film is not warranted or supported, and whats more it will be only disrespectful and unethical against the screen legacy Brandon created in the film.

12.7.08 -  It has been a while since I have been able to update the site, but better late than never - huh? I have been working hard on number of projects, mainly the research biography one and so updates have been slow. Kelly and myself are working towards getting the better quality pictures of Brandon for the new galleries, which will be a collection of the full archive file on Brandon.

I have re-vamped a few sections and this has been done for clarity, as well as for accuracy. A few people have emailed me in regards to wishing to know what was facts and what was opinion, so I felt it was best to lay that out for those readers. Opinions are personal perspectives, hopefully based on some kind of creditable information, whereas facts are what has been proven with evidence or expert statements. Just to clear that up. We do not make up information on this site, as we believe strongly in historical accuracy on Brandon Lee. Some fans may find some truthful aspects on Brandon's life hard to read or understand, but that is why we are here - to educate and inform. Our site is one of the few who have made it their mission to report the truth, with as much accuracy we possibly can. However, we do not invade anyone's personal privacy, and it is important to remember that some information should remain private, as not everything Brandon would have agreed to have it known to all. I ask for all fans and readers to remember and be mindful of respect and the boundaries of decency.

10.6.08 -  I had added an official blog to the site. Our first blog entry is addressing some concerns some readers recently brought to my attention, as well my own observations online in the last few years. It is my hope that sites like this one, which provide the factual and accurate information on Brandon, can then help educated those misguided individuals who seem to be contend with posting crap about Brandon, and his loved ones, spreading gossip as truth.  I have had a small one on myspace, but thought we deserved one on here too.  Also, I have changed and added graphics on this page and site.  In the next few days some new pages will be launched. Check back for new changes soon.  Anyone who has sent some inquiries or questions in the last few weeks and haven't heard back, have no fear. I have been especially busy doing some important site business elsewhere. I am a little slow in some of my e-mails, but if they are pertaining to questions on Brandon, they may just turn up in the new addition of the FAQ.  Everyone else, I will get to you eventually. I am only one person, so try and remember that.

As always I appreciate all the support fans and friends continue to give us in our aim to preserve and promote Brandon's true legacy.

09.12.08 -  I have made some updates to the website, including the BLM, Brandon & Eliza and FAQ.

There will be some minor changes to some parts of the website soon. I am adding a new section to the B & E site answering people's questions and opinions. This will allow the page to be divided into factual elements and then educated or analytical opinion. I also have been working with my friend Kelly Anderson (from the Always and Forever Brandon Lee gallery) to bring fans a bigger and better gallery that is not limited by MSN's temperamental servers. I will be hosting the new gallery and we will be able to host pictures at a greater resolution and size. We also are going to have an exclusive section for special members for special pictures collected by us that are rather too precious to share publicly (where they too often end up on eBay into someone else's pocket).

I want to send a thank you out to my sweet friend, Kiara. She runs an Italian site on Brandon Lee's legacy, and like us, wants Brandon to be accurately remembered for who he was, not who he wasn't. Kiara created some wonderful artwork to be placed around people's sites and profiles. Feel Free to use them. The aim is to truthfully represent Brandon's life. We thank Kiara for all her hard work to put fans in the right direction and bring them back (often) to a logical reality. Good work Kiara!!!

07.18.08 -  I have done some editing and fixed a few errors up. If you notice any let me know. I apologize in advance for any - but keep in mind I often update this site at 1am when my eyes want to take a nap. Ha ha!

Anyway, I have updated the BLM, Fact, FAQ and Brandon & Eliza page. I have fixed up the layout in the Print Media page, so it should be working fine now.

07.14.08 -  I have made some more updated to the Brandon & Eliza page, as well as to the Print Media where I have added more articles. As previously mentioned, updates will be a bit slow for a while. I am committed to providing the fans with all the articles I have in my collected (although after 16 years - I think only the rare and best should be seen).

07.11.08 -  I have made some updates to the Brandon & Eliza page to both the story and quotes pages, as well to the BLM page.

07.10.08 -  I have made some updates to the FAQ, and Fact pages.  The Brandon Lee Movement would also like to send our condolences to The Crow creator James O'Barr, who recently lost his mother. Your in our thoughts, James.

7.09.08 -  I have made some updates to the Print Media page with new databases being added. I also have finally finished the Fan Soul Mates tribute page to Brandon & Eliza.  I also have re-edited the Biography page.  I am currently undertaking a new research project on Brandon's life and legacy, so updates may be slow for a while. Please keep any questions coming and let me know your thoughts. Remember there is no movement without your input. Were in this together!

7.06.08 -  It has been a few months since updates - I know. I have updated the Brandon & Eliza page, Fact or Fiction, as well as added a new affiliate to our site. I have been busy trying to update the print media site with new interviews, as well as design a new mainframe for the article database. Please be patient. I am only one person, and I do have a life - so remember patience is a virtue.

4.15.08 -  We are adding a section onto the site this week. This week (April 17th) for those fans who don't know will be the 15th anniversary of what should of been Brandon & Eliza's wedding day. We thought we would pay homage to two soul mates that will forever be linked as one. As their dedication on Brandon's tombstone reads, 'Brandon and Eliza, Ever joined in true love's beauty.' To celebrate and honor the love that Brandon described to James O'Barr as changing his life, we thought fans could join in with us and send us poems, pictures, artworks and any words you would like to say about this classic couple. You can now view this page through the quote link on the main Brandon & Eliza page.

Eliza was a very important part of Brandon's life (perhaps the most important thing to him), and the one thing he was looking forward to most was this wedding day with the love of his life. They had such special love between them, so we thought all fans would be able to add something to honor Brandon & his beloved on this day. It is to celebrate love and the immortal themes that have inspired many The Crow fans.

4.8.08 -   It has been a while since we have updated the page with some content, but it will be done soon. I am working on doing more transcriptions for interviews and articles, as well as some other new additions. It does take some time, and I also am busy working on another Brandon Lee project besides the WOF Campaign, so please be patient. BLM has eight years of serving the Brandon Lee internet community and we aren't going anywhere, so sit back and enjoy the view.

03.31.08 - Today marks the 15th anniversary of Brandon's passing. A lot of thoughts are in my head as this landmark occasion takes place, but mostly I am thinking of what kind of positive impact and influence Brandon had on my life, and my thoughts are with Linda, Shannon and Brandon's beloved Eliza at this difficult time of year.
