Brandon Lee Movement                           

 The Movement's chief aim is to have Brandon's name stay in society. Brandon always lived under the shadow of his famous father, Bruce Lee, who also died a young age. We at the BLM feel it is time that people recognize Brandon in his own right.

 Brandon deserves to be more then known as Bruce Lee's son, or for his last role in The Crow. He was a gifted actor who had a life full of the potential for greatness. It's about time people stopped comparing his Death with his father's, and to at last see the magic Brandon had, and which he has inspired in others

Brandon was only 28 years old when he was killed in 1993. It is now 15 years later, and he still is a source of inspiration to his admirers, most of whom always will wonder 'what could of been'.   It is vital that we remember Brandon for what he did accomplish in his lifetime.

His small on-screen accomplishments does not diminish his impact on Hollywood, his effect on safety regulation laws in the film industry, and more importantly how his life has inspired others to live their own dreams.

   The BLM will do what it takes to educate the greater public about the real Brandon Lee, there was more to him then just his surname. We will do this by writing, emails, petitions etc. Our mission is to get Brandon's name out there, the safest, easiest and legal way we can

   We also want to encourage other fans to join us, either by way of their own projects or by helping spread the word.

Although she is a silent partner these days, in the early days of the BLM she provided me with much needed support and encouragement.
 

News/Updates...                               

07.11. 08 - I would again like to thank all the supports of this campaign to get Brandon Lee his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. I also would to remind fans to READ the information on the STAR page. Signatures is not going to get Brandon his star.Iin fact as I do tell people they don't really care about them, but considering that Brandon is dead and we need to prove without any doubt that he does deserve this, has support and fans will be there on the day if he were to get one. There is also the question of the $25,000 fee if our application would be accepted. Obviously his family would need to be there on hand to lend their support, but I do ask when we have gotten clearance for some legalities to start fund raising, that you keep the financial support we fans could do in mind.  We will post more when we have heard back from the powers that be.

04.15. 08 - Our target of 5,000 signatures has been reached. This is wonderful news and we have managed to get 5,000 signatures in four years. Of course as explained in the star petition site, petitions are not accepted by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, but they did play an important role when Bruce Lee was granted his, and help justify reasons and sentiments of Brandon's fans who do play an important role in getting Brandon his star at long-last. There are some legalities that still need to be worked out before official fund raising takes place, but stay tune. All those in the BLM are working very hard towards the next step of the application process.

02.27.08 - Our target of 5,000 signatures has almost been reached. Today's count puts it at 4,720 signatures from all around the world. Great job everyone. Now we just have to concentrate on working toward fund raising for the application process. More news soon on this one.

We have a new project!!! Thoughts on Brandon

We are compiling fan's thoughts on Brandon and need your help. This is a unique opportunity to convey what Brandon means to you, your thoughts on him, how he has inspired or influenced your life in some way. The list will be sent to Brandon's mother and sister, along with a copy of the petition to get Brandon a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Please contribute and remember to KEEP IT CLEAN!

3.1.07 - I have cleaned up the layout. I have also added a new project to our list of current projects. The page will be up very soon. Please go to our Brandon main page to check out the latest updates to do with that site - Pictures, articles and new links.

2.2.07 - I know - It has been a long time in between updates, but we had some major problems with our server after it was constantly being hacked into. The problems were taking too long to get sorted, so we made the decision to move back to our original server. We thank David Jeffers of the Crow Revisted site for hosting us for the last 18 months, we all appreciated it, but I guess we were destined to do it our own way. Ok, now for the updates; The Brandon & Eliza page has been updated with an extra gallery being added, the story been edited and enhanced, and soon we will be adding some more updated information on there too. I would like to thank everyone who has signed our petition for Brandon to receive his Hollywood Walk of Fame Star, and please pass the link on to your friends for them to sign too. Very soon there will be the new sub-site for the petition, which will have all the information and updates on the application process.

15.07.05 - Thanks to Richard over at ABaHB.com for letting us know about this exciting news.

Robert Zuckerman, who is otherwise known as the still photographer on The Crow, is selling some prints of Brandon to raise funds for his sister Patti, who is very ill with a rare degenerative illness. "The Cathedral" print has been available for some time, but is being sold at only $50.00, which we all think is such a bargin. The second print is titled "Rooftop", which was shot in 1992 five months before The Crow began shooting. It also is being sold for $50.00. 11.07.05 - The site is finally back up. We also have a new home thanks to David J of crow re-visited site. There have been a few changes: Brandon Spirit magazine is only available now as a pdf, i am unsure whether or not if this will be an on-going thing. This is mainly due to the time and effort it takes and the fact that i am doing all the production work. We do need more people to contribute to it, and not just want to purchase it. Also, the petitions are still up and please only sign once otherwise your name will have to be deleted.

1.2.04 -  For starters i thought i would add a note saying 'Happy 40th Birthday to Brandon' - wherever he may be.

Brandon's Spirit, the official magazine of the Brandon Lee Movement is now on sale. With proceeds being donated to the Hollywood Walk of fame application in Brandon's name.

We finally finally have our own magazine. You voted on it last year and i hope everyone manages to see it in whatever form they can.

28.1.04 - The site is finally up, though still in parts. I have had some problems with my server, and may be moving soon - so expect delays.

The Brandon Lee Magazine - is with the printers as i write this - should be able to pick the copies up in a few days. So make sure you order the copies !
