CROW' SOUNDS
KENNETH JOHNSON and TOMMY TOMLINSON, Staff Writers
If ``The Crow''
is ever released, you'll get to see Charlotte's Charlie's On Acid on the big
screen. The movie has been in limbo since star Brandon Lee was accidentally
killed last spring during filming in Wilmington. Lee portrays a rock singer
in the film and Charlie's On Acid was his band. Its members don't have
speaking parts, but the four punk-funkers - vocalist Sean Frazier, guitarist
Toby Bryant, bassist Eric Metcalf and drummer Rusty Burnett - spent a day
with Lee shooting band photos that are to appear in the film (one of them
was printed in Entertainment Weekly). The band won the part after a casting
company saw the group's own publicity shots. Catch them live tonight at
Jeremiah's.
